Tetra Test O₂ is a liquid water testing kit designed to measure dissolved oxygen levels in freshwater aquariums, marine aquariums, and garden ponds. Monitoring oxygen levels helps maintain healthy conditions for fish, aquatic plants, and beneficial filter bacteria. The test uses a color-change reaction and a comparison chart to determine oxygen concentration, helping identify low oxygen levels before they affect aquatic life.
**Measurement Range:** 2–14 mg/L of dissolved oxygen
**Directions for Use:** Rinse the test vial with the water being tested and fill it to the 15 mL mark. Add 5 drops of Reagent 1 and 5 drops of Reagent 2. Close the vial, turn it upside down once, and allow it to stand for 30 seconds. Add 5 drops of Reagent 3, close the vial, and invert it twice. Compare the resulting reddish-purple color with the included color chart to read the oxygen level. Rinse the vial thoroughly after each test.
