Sera Nitrate-Test is a reliable liquid reagent test kit designed to measure nitrate (NO₃) levels in freshwater and marine aquariums, as well as garden ponds. It helps monitor water quality, identify organic pollution, and prevent excessive nitrate accumulation, which can contribute to algae growth and negatively affect fish and plant health. The kit includes testing reagents, a measuring vial, a syringe, a measuring spoon, and a color comparison chart for easy and accurate readings. It provides approximately 60 measurements.
**Directions for Use:** Shake the reagent bottles well before use. Fill the measuring vial with 10 mL of aquarium water. Add 6 drops of Reagent 1 and 6 drops of Reagent 2, mixing after each addition. Add one level measuring spoon of Reagent 3, close the vial, and shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Add 6 drops of Reagent 4 and mix gently. Wait 5 minutes, then compare the color with the included chart under natural daylight, avoiding direct sunlight.
